Tour Description

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

After a late-evening arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel. Delhi is the capital of the modern India, though it is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Delhi-Explore Delhi

After morning breakfast you will be taken to visit the famous Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb. Stay night at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi - Rishikesh (260 kms, 5-6 hrs drive)- Explore Rishikesh

Morning drive to Rishikesh. Arrive Rishikesh and check – in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Rishikesh includes Bharat Mandir, Nilkanth Mahadev, Raghunath Mandir and Triveni Ghat. Overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 04: Rishikesh – Haridwar - Rishikesh- Explore Haridwar

Day return excursion to Haridwar. Visit Har-Ki-Pauri, the sacred Ghat constructed by King Vikramaditya in the memory of his brother Bhartrihari. The temple of Chandi Devi a top the Neel Parvat on the other bank of river Ganges. Overnight at hotel in Rishikesh.

Day 05: Rishikesh - Chandigarh (180 kms, 4-5 hours drive)

Morning drive to Chandigarh. Arrive Chandigarh and check in at hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Explore Chandigarh

Morning sightseeing tour of Chandigarh including Rock Garden, constructed almost entirely out of city garbage; Rose Garden 30 landscaped acres containing a variety of 1600 roses; Museum & Art Gallery housing a good collection of sculptures and paintings. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Chandigarh - Shimla (125 kms, 3 hours drive)

Morning drive to the ‘Summer Retreat of the British – Shimla'. Arrive Shimla and check – in at hotel. Evening visit the Mall road. Overnight in Shimla.

Day 08: Explore Shimla

Morning sightseeing tour of Shimla including The Mall - Shimla’s, Jakhoo Hill, Glen forest, Chadwick Falls. Overnight in Shimla.

Day 09: Shimla - Manali (280 kms, 7-8 hours drive)

Morning drive to Manali. Arrive Manali and check in at hotel. Overnight in Manali.

Day 10: Explore Manali

Morning sightseeing tour of Manali including the legendary Hadimba Devi Temple, the picturesque Tibetan Monastery, Arjun Gufa, famous village Jagatsukh, Nehru Kund, Kothi and Solang Valley, Rahla Falls. Overnight in Manali.

Day 11: Manali - Dharamshala (260 kms, 7-6 hour drive)

Morning drive to Dharamshala, enroute visits the Temple of Baijnath near Palampur. Arrive Dharamshala and check in at hotel. Evening free to relax, overnight in Dharamshala. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Explore Dharamshala

Morning sightseeing tour of Dharamshala including various monasteries and Mcleodganj often called Little Lhasa and the residence of the Dalai Lama, which has been here for over three decades. The monastery has larger-than-life images of the Buddha, Padmasambhava and Avalokteshwara. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Dharamshala – Dalhousie (145 kms, 3-4 hrs drive)

Morning drive to Dalhousie. Arrive Dalhousie and check in at hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Explore Dalhousie

Morning take an excursion tour of Khajjiar known as Switzerland of India. Enjoy horse ride around Khajjiar Lake. Later drive back to Dalhousie & enjoy the snow clad mountain peaks easily visible by naked eye from Dalhousie. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Explore Dalhousie

Day free for individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16: Dalhousie - Amritsar (188 kms, 3-4 hrs drive) Explore Amritsar

Morning drive to Amritsar. Arrive Amritsar and check in at hotel. Visit the famous Golden Temple, Durgiana Mandir, Jalianwala Bagh. Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 17: Amritsar - Delhi (By train)

Morning transfer to Railway Station to board train for Delhi. Assistance on arrival in Delhi, transfer to hotel and transfer to airport to board the flight back home.
