Tourist

Note: Embassy does not issue a Tourist visa but for some special cases Visit visa can be accepted by them. Personal Presence is required if desired by the Embassy.

• The Applicant should have a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months.
• One visa form duly filled and signed (photocopy allowed).
• Two recent passport-size color photographs.
• A covering letter from the Applicant, explaining the purpose of visit.
• Copy of the Invitation letter from the Ministry of External Affairs, Republic of Azerbaijan or:
• An original Invitation letter from the host Company in Azeri Language, along with a copy of their Registration Certificate.
• In case of a personal invitation, passport copy and residence certificate of the host in Azerbaijan is required.
• Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
• Income tax returns for the last three years.
• Bank statement for last three months.
• Overseas Medical Insurance Policy (from any Insurance Company).
• HIV test certificate from Embassy authorized doctor. (Address given below).
• Personal presence of the Applicant is not required.
• Processing time is 5 working days.
• Kindly note that the visa officer can ask for further documents, depending on the case.

Business

Note: Personal presence can be required, if desired by the Embassy.

• The Applicant should have a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months.
• One visa form (photocopy allowed).
• Two recent passport-size color photographs.
• A covering letter, requesting to issue the Business visa, from the Applicant or his Organization (on Organization letterhead and signed by someone other than the Applicant) addressed to the Consular Department, Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi-110057.
• Original invitation letter from the inviting Organization / Firm in Azerbaijan on the Firm's letterhead, in Azeri language and addressed to the Consular Department, mentioning all the relevant details of the Applicant (Name, Passport Number, Date of issue, Place of issue, Valid up to etc).
• Confirmed onward / return air ticket.
• A copy of the Registration Certificate of the inviting Firm in Azerbaijan.
• Income tax returns for the last three years.
• Bank statement for last three months.
• Overseas Medical Insurance Policy.
• HIV test certificate from the Embassy appointed doctor. (Address given below).
• Processing time is 5 working days.
