IVA Advisory :

1. Yellow fever: a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from travellers over 1 year of age coming from or having passed through countries with risk of yellow fever transmission. Yellow fever vaccine recommendation: no Malaria: Malaria risk due predominantly to P. falciparum exists from November to May/ June in the northern parts of the country: Boteti, Chobe, Ngamiland, Okavango, Tutume districts/ subdistricts. Chloroquine-resistant P. falciparum reported. Recommended prevention in risk areas: Type IV: (1) High risk of P. falciparum malaria, combined with reported antimalarial drug resistance; or (2) Moderate/low risk of P. falciparum malaria, combined with reported high levels of drug resistanceb. Mosquito bite prevention plus atovaquone–proguanil, doxycycline or mefloquine chemoprophylaxis (select according to reported resistance pattern).

2. Airport tax: No Tax.
