Tourist

• The Applicant should have a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months.
• Two visa forms (photocopy allowed).
• Two passport-size photographs.
• A covering Letter from the Applicant on the companies letter head explaining the purpose of visit.
• Confirmed onward/ return air ticket.
• Onward country visa.
• Proof of Hotel Reservation.
• A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
• Proof of funds in the form of bank statements for the last 6 months.
• Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
• Processing time is 3 to 4 working days.
• Applicant can be asked for additional documents or may be called for an interview if deemed necessary by the Embassy.

Business

• A Letter of Invitation from Business associates in Djibouti.
• Confirmed onward/ return air ticket.
• Onward country visa.
• Proof of Hotel Reservation.
• A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required
• Proof of funds in the form of bank statements for the last 6 months.
• Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
• Processing time is 3 to 4 working days.
• Applicant can be asked for additional documents or may be called for an interview if deemed necessary by the Embassy.

Transit

Visa is not required if continuing the journey by the same or first connecting aircraft within 24 hours, without leaving the airport and provided the traveler holds a confirmed onward air ticket and visa.
