IVA Advisory :

1. Yellow fever Country requirement: a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from all travellers over 1 year of age. Yellow fever vaccine recommendation: yes Malaria: Malaria risk due predominantly to P. falciparum exists throughout the year in the whole country. Resistance to chloroquine and sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine reported. Recommended prevention: IV. Type IV: (1) High risk of P. falciparum malaria, combined with reported antimalarial drug resistance; or (2) Moderate/low risk of P. falciparum malaria, combined with reported high levels of drug resistanceb. Mosquito bite prevention plus atovaquone–proguanil, doxycycline or mefloquine chemoprophylaxis (select according to reported resistance pattern
